Opportunities for members of the public to raise issues

i. Concern was raised that the notification of mud on Shaw Lonnen in the March Minutes could be interpreted as blaming local farmers. It was clarified that CPC understood that there could be a variety of reasons for the situation and did not seek to apportion blame. CPC’s intention was to ask NCC to clean or make safe as they deemed necessary. ii. It was asked if more could be done to support local farmers in their struggle with off-lead dogs? This is causing serious disruption and distress to farm animals and wildlife. CW to request official signage from NCC to be erected. iii. It was reported that the roadworks south of West Woodburn on the A68 are causing drivers to divert via East Woodburn in an attempt to reduce their delay. CW to report to NCC and ask, again, for swift repairs and the full reopening of the road.
