| Matters arising from the minutes – i. Cllr Wilson analysed data from the vehicular activated signs in West Woodburn and reported the findings. The average speed is 36mph, with about 50% of traffic at 30-40mph. The most concerning is that 5% of traffic, amounting to about 350 vehicles a week, are travelling at over 50 mph and 80-90 vehicles per week are over 60mph in a 30 zone, with some well in excess of 70mph. The worst times for excess speed are 06:00-09:00 and 15:00-18:00. A number of the speeding vehicles have been observed to be school transport (taxis). Clerk to ask for NCCs support re the latter point. ii. Believ are looking into the feasibility of installing EV chargers at two locations. Results to follow. iii. The emergency plan is complete, (including a small version which was distributed at the Parish Show). The plan will be uploaded and shared locally with copies going on the noticeboards. |

Following discussions, Councillors felt the best location for the West Woodburn sign would be just before the bottle bank to allow cars to turn after seeing the sign. iii. CCP Tynedale, Driver Scheme – Volunteer drivers are sought by Church and Community Partnership Tynedale as part of a new transport scheme operating locally, the clerk can pass on the contact details should any parishioners wish to make enquiries. iv.
